Located on Lake Echo, Dockside Diner offers a small seafood-inspired menu from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Our park reporter, Chrissy, recently anchored at Dockside Diner to see if it’s worth visiting during your visit to Hollywood Studios. This is what he discovered.
Shrimp Salad Roll – $ 13.49
Chrissy found this to be creamy and heavy on fennel, which she liked. In fact, it was his favorite of the items he tried. It’s a little small, but it’s full of prawns and decent value along with the fries.
Smoked Fish Dip – $ 10.99
Dip is a cream-based sauce that comes in a small cup, but is tasty with a mild flavor and a mild fishy taste. Chrissy enjoyed lots of vegetables, chips, jalapeños, and pickles.
Chipotle Chicken Salad Roll – $ 9.99
Because of the heat, Chrissy didn’t like it. The pain was too much for her to have more than one bite. That’s not to say you don’t enjoy spices, such as chili oil in EPCOT’s Nine Dragons; but spice and pain are two different things. To pass.
Brownie by the Sea – $ 4.79
Brownie + Frost = Joy. Chrissy says she will be fired immediately if she ever says something bad about this particular combo. Also, how cute is this brownie? Who wouldn’t love it?
Dockside Diner also serves vanilla and chocolate smoothies, children’s macaroni and cheese, PB&J Uncrustables and a variety of soft drinks and beverages.
