Now let’s go to other news!
Various updates from the animal kingdom
During our visit, the line for Everest Expedition it had been closed by gauging, something we don’t remember seeing before. They usually only extend the line to the Finding Nemo: The Musical building. In the My Disney Experience app, the trip was listed as “temporarily closed” even though it was still running.
Shortly afterwards, cast members reopened the line and were informing guests that it was one two hours wait although the main sign of the trip indicated the waiting time at 90 minutes. Since we are in the middle of the holiday season, you may find large crowds in the parks that lead to interesting situations like this. Just be sure to ask a cast member for help if you have any questions about how a specific trip line is being managed.
Everest Expedition will be closed for 3 months at Disney World. Click here to read more!
And in other random but interesting news, we saw Member of the cast Carter to Recover a Cell Phone that a guest fell over a fence! If something falls into an awkward place, the cast members may be able to use it long clamp tool to get there.
Of course, this is exactly what we have seen done for this particular circumstance. Keep in mind that this may not always be the case. We appreciate the hard work of the cast members, especially when they help us find a lost item!
