Happy New Year! It’s time for Disney World to welcome a new year.
On New Year’s Eve at Disney World, guests can enjoy dance parties, Disney Springs events and special New Year’s fireworks. But how are the crowds on New Year’s Eve? Let’s take a look!
Considering the work that Disney World was doing the week of the Christmas holidays i this past week, we expected to see large crowds. Month, all four Disney parks are fully booked for New Year’s Eve. according to Disney World’s park reservation calendar.
We decided to go to Magic Kingdom tonight to catch it Charming fireworks and look at the crowds. We boarded the ferry around sunset!
We entered the park about 5 minutes before Enchantment was about to start, and Main Street, USA, was packed!
People lined up to the Christmas tree to see the show.
Then we went to see if other parts of the park were so crowded for the show. Approaching Tomorrowland, there were still a lot of people around watching.
But when we walked to Fantasyland, there were far fewer people enjoying the view from behind Cinderella Castle near Mad Tea Party.
You can still see the fireworks from here, you just won’t be able to see the castle projections.
But as we moved further into Fantasyland, we came across the crowd again!
A lot of people came back here watching the fireworks, but they started to disperse once the show was over.
Everyone started moving towards the attractions.
The streets were very crowded with people walking towards Fantasyland and walking away.
Lots of people lined up for Peter Pan’s Flight.
Once we moved to Liberty Square, there were still a lot of people doing it.
But he didn’t feel it how full of people here like he did in Fantasyland.
Back in front of the castle, the dance party was over!
The DJ took to the stage and the audience gathered to dance!
This is a GREAT dance party!
