Reform The revenge of the mummy

Revenge of the Universal Studios Florida mummy is closed for renovation until late summer. Building permits are presented to replace travel control systems and upgrade external infrastructure. Rumors suggest that the mountain trail and breakwaters could be replaced during the renovation and the history of the attraction could be streamlined. We’re excited to see what Universal has in store for this favorite fan attraction.

Universal has not given an exact date for the return of this classic attraction, so stay tuned for tour plans for the latest updates!

Rock the Universe

Rock the Universe

Florida’s largest Christian rock festival returns in late January with nearly a dozen musical acts. The event takes place from 6pm to 1am and includes selected attractions from Universal Studios Florida. For more information, visit the Around the Universe publication in recent weeks.

Rock the Universe will take place on January 28th and 29th.

Winter Olympics

NBC is covering the 2022 Winter Olympics and hopefully Universal Orlando will celebrate. NBC Grill Brew will showcase highlights and game coverage throughout the day, and if the 2020 summer games are over, Universal Studios Florida will offer viewing areas with unique dining options. The 2022 Winter Olympics will be held from February 4 to 20.

Mardi Gras 2022

Polish this brass and turn on the cicada boil, it’s Mardi Gras time! The celebration of the entire Universal Carnival returns from February to April with food, concerts, parades and accounts! The incredible gastronomic festival that the guests talked about together with a new Tribute store is back. After a hiatus in 2021, the weekend concert series resumes and the daily Mardi Gras parade is back in operation. Universal has not yet announced its concert schedule, but we hope that will happen in the coming days.

Universal’s Carnival takes place every day, from February 5th to April 24th. The concerts take place on some weekends.

Summer brings box office hits, crowds and new experiences to Universal Orlando. A new Tribute Store with a main film and / or Universal Orlando attraction will be released. The new dining options will be introduced throughout the resort as the menus are renewed. CityWalk will release new experiences, such as a rumored escape room concept that will replace The Groove. Also, look forward to events in the park, meetings and greetings and screenings for Universal’s upcoming films such as Jurassic World Dominion or Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Halloween Horror Nights 31

For some, it’s never too early to think about Halloween. Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will return for its 31st year in 2022 with new homes, scary areas and shows. Will we see a house based on the great TV show Chucky? Maybe something weird? Universal has been silent, but we’ll start receiving announcements this spring.

Universal has not yet announced the days of the Halloween Horror Nights event. In line with previous years, we expect the event to have selection nights from September 2nd to October 31st. Stay tuned for tour plans and our crowd schedule for updates.

Universal has not yet announced the days of its holiday offers. As in previous years, we expect the holidays to run daily from November 19, 2022 to January 8, 2023. Stay tuned for tour plans and our crowd schedule for updates.

2023 and beyond

Minions - Despicable Me
Property – Universal

Reinvestment of theme parks is a vital part of the industry. Universal is back on the pedal after a brief break from COVID with several new projects. A new Minions-based attraction opens in the former Shrek 4D location that will take guests to the strange Villain-Con. Guests will be able to try out the crazy gadgets that appear at the convention in the movie. Across the park, Fear Factor Live has closed for a new attraction: an expansion to London and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Universal Creative is playing its cards close to its chest here, but hopefully a new broom-based virtual reality wear and tear will open in the coming years.

Looking further is Universal’s third theme park, Epic Universe. It is rumored to open in 2025, this new park will feature some of the world’s best themed environments based on Nintendo, Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon and Universal’s Classic Monsters. The main artery of the park will be a celestial theme center with restaurants, shops, attractions and shows. Stay tuned for Touring Plans while more is revealed about this amazing park.
