Let’s go back to that strange EPCOT limbo where one festival (in this case the Festival de les Festes) is over and another festival (the Festival de les Arts) is getting ready to start. Since there are no extra dining booths during this inter-festival period, this means one thing: long queues for food!
Now, don’t worry – just like the holiday crowds, there’s an easy way to navigate the long queues of food we’ll face until the Arts Festival begins on January 14th! Let’s take a look at three tips for getting food done as quickly (and without stress!) As possible.
As we walked through EPCOT this weekend, we noticed that there were so many super long queues. But guess what, you don’t always have to wait!
The first important piece of advice we can give you is to do it grab your food at break times! This is a DFB tip that we say ALL the time, but it works! Lunch time is one of the busiest times to grab food with a lot of people flocking to the fast food and counter locations. Instead of grabbing lunch around noon, try bringing your food closer to the rope drop or mid-afternoon. This way, you can avoid congestion and get your food done quickly!
Another great tip is to do it Place mobile orders BEFORE you get hungry! Here’s another one we’ve mentioned before, but it’s important on business days – mobile order schedules can fill up quickly when there are big crowds, so make sure you order a meal by ordering it before you’re hungry. Plan your mobile order for when you think you’re hungry and thank us later! We’ve seen several crowds outside of Mobile Order locations, but this tip should save you time on a busy day. Remember that you can set the time on your mobile order if your plans change.
Finally, make sure the item you want isn’t sold in multiple locations! What do we mean by that? Well, let’s take a look at a recent example. The other day, we noticed a VERY long queue for the Beer cart and pretzels in the German Pavilion because it offered the Schöfferhofer Aranja Rosa Hefeweizen (which in our opinion is an ESSENTIAL beer). However, this beer is also available at summer party, which had a much shorter line.
In addition to the EPCOT between festivals, this weekend saw the Walt Disney World Marathon taking many people to the parks! And these tips are good for any busy day at the park!
These are just some of the ways you can navigate the EPCOT lines between food festivals! We’re always up to date with the latest Disney news (we’ll have Art Festival information for all of you soon!), So stay tuned here for more information!
Everything is FREE at the EPCOT Arts Festival!
